PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable device capable of attaining space reduction and also sliding in a curved shape in a simple structure. SOLUTION: A portable device comprises a first case 2 and a second case 3, these first case 2 and second case 3 are engaged to relatively slide in a state they are overlapped with each other, and a closed state covering the upper surface of the first case 2 with the second case 3 and an open state exposing the upper surface of the first case 2 are formed. The portable device comprises a lock means for locking the first case 2 and the second case 3 in the closed state, an unlock part provided to the first case 2 for canceling locking due to the lock means and a flat spiral spring unit 6 for energizing the first case 2 and the second case 3 from the closed state to the open state, thereby solving the problem.
