PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera capable of protecting an icon or a character printed on the surface of an operation button while preventing cost increase. SOLUTION: In the camera to take a photograph by capturing object light, a power source button 18_1 having a projecting surface 18_11 projecting from the housing of the camera has a print part 18_12 where the characters meaning "power source" are printed at a part near to the center of the projecting surface 18_11, and the print part 18_12 has a recessed shape one-dimensionally recessed further than a part near to the end of the projecting surface 18_11.
