PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation sensor capable of stably detecting the rotation speed of a rotating shaft and improving the detection accuracy. SOLUTION: The rotation sensor 10 comprises a base member 11 where a connection lead 16 connected to an external circuit is buried, a magnet 12 that is buried in the base member 11 and whose one end is exposed from the base member 11, a plate 13 for uniforming the magnetic flux generated by the magnet 12, a circuit board 14 that is arranged faced to the plate 13, whose surface on the opposite side to the plate 13 has a Hall IC 17, and that is connected to the connection lead 16, and a cover 15 for covering at least a circuit board 14.
