PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analyzing method which enables the formation of an amino acid analyzing sample by removing tannin in a tea extract. SOLUTION: The sample is passed through a solid phase extractant filled with an inverse phase type resin having a hydrophobic group being a hydrophylic base material resin to remove the hydrophobic substance in the sample and the amino acid or amino acid like substance in the passed solution is analyzed. For example, the tea extract is passed through the solid-phase extractant, filled with the inverse phase type resin, the base material resin of which is a hydrophilic porous methacrylate crosslinked polymer, to remove tannin in the tea extract, so that the amino acid and amino acid like substance in the passed solution are analyzed by a liquid chromatograph.
