摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus and an image processing method, capable of suppressing degrading the image quality accompanying chromatic aberrations. SOLUTION: A color temperature detection section 104 detects the color temperature of a light source and calculates the white balance coefficient from the color temperature. A white balance correction circuit 105 multiplies the white balance coefficient acquired by the color temperature detection section 104 with an image signal and applies white balance correction with respect to all the image signals. A chromatic aberration correction circuit 106 applies chromatic aberration correction to an object image that has been separated into R, G, B image signals. The chromatic aberration correction circuit 106 multiplies a color temperature coefficient k with a color slurring distance S, to obtain a chromatic aberration correction amount taking into account the color temperature of the light source. The color temperature coefficient k is a coefficient, obtained in advance; in cross-reference with the color temperature of the light source.
