PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a license plate bracket mounting structure capable of improving mounting work efficiency. SOLUTION: An extending portion 41 extending downward is provided at a lower edge of a bracket main body 22 of the license plate bracket 21, and the extending portion 41 is integrally formed on the bracket main body 22. A hinge portion 42 is formed between the bracket main body 22 and the extending portion 41. The extending portion 41 is structured to be folded to a back surface side of the license plate bracket 21 from the hinge portion b42, and a billet 13 can be clipped between the extending portion 41 and the license plate bracket 21. On a reinforcing block 62 provided on a free end portion side of the extending portion 41, an insertion recessed portion 62 in which a cylindrical portion 27 of a bracket main body 22 is inserted is formed.
