A multi-functional remote control system is provided to implement a new multimedia-based control system by enabling a cartridge, in which multimedia contents are recorded, to be separated from a remote controller and adding new communication circuits and functions to the cartridge and a user computer. A multi-functional remote control system comprises a remote controller(100) and a cartridge(200). The remote controller, mechanically and electrically connected with the cartridge, reads and stores the data recorded in the cartridge, and executes registration setup for usage. The cartridge, mechanically and electrically connected with the remote controller, receives data from a user computer and stores the received data. Also the cartridge transmits and receives infrared signals with an electronic device to control. |
