A water purification process using a dissolved air flotation pump is provided to reduce the installation area and costs for production and maintenance by simplifying the structure of an apparatus, easily perform an operation by simplifying the water purification process, and improve the treatment efficiency and the treatment amount of raw water by generating micro-bubbles with an uniform size of about 40 mum. A water purification process using a dissolved air flotation pump comprises: a step(A1) of adding a coagulant to raw water contained in a reactor; a step(A2) of forming sludge into floc by addition of the coagulant; a step(A3) of adhering micro-bubbles to the floc such that the micro-bubble adhered floc is floated on the surface of water; a step(A4) of removing the floc floated on the surface of the water by a skimmer to discharge the floc to a separate discharge port; a step(A5) of discharging most of the sludge-removed treated water to a separate storage tank, and flowing a portion of the sludge-removed treated water as circulation water into a dissolved air flotation pump such that air is dissolved into the portion of the sludge-removed treated water; and a step(A6) of discharging the air dissolved circulation water at the atmospheric pressure through a discharge pipe of the dissolved air flotation pump connected to a lower side of a flotation tank to generate micro-bubbles, and adhering the micro-bubbles to the floc to float the floc. |
