METHOD FOR PARTICIPATING A BROADCASTING PROGRAM IN DMB TERMINAL

A method for participating in a broadcasting program in a DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) terminal device is provided to allow a user to actively participate in the broadcasting program by obtaining call number related to the broadcasting program and transmitting a text message at the obtained call number. Audio broadcasting of a Terrestrial-DMB is received and reproduced(S200). X-PAD(eXtended Program Association Data) included in an audio frame of the terrestrial-DMB is checked(S210). A CI(Contents Identification) of the checked X-PAD field is checked(S220). It is checked whether the checked CI is a DLS(Dynamic Label Segment)(S230). It is inspected whether data on the checked X-PAD have the type of telephone number(S240). A telephone number about the reproduced broadcasting is obtained. A text message is transmitted at the obtained telephone number.
