A work transporting device is provided to discharge works in a work receiving concave unit to a work discharging pipe by re-driving a work discharging device after moving a transporting table by a predetermined distance when the works are not discharged from the work receiving concave unit. A work transporting device includes a base(2), a transporting table(1), a work discharging device, a work discharging pipe, and a detecting sensor. The transporting table(1) is rotatably arranged on the base(2), has a plurality of work receiving concave units(1a) receiving works(W), and discharges the works(W) from the work receiving concave units(1a) at a work discharging position. The work discharging device is installed at one side of the work receiving concave unit(1a) at the work discharging position, and discharges the works(W) in the work receiving concave units(1a). The work discharging pipe is installed at the other side of the work receiving concave unit(1a) at the work discharging position, and receives the works(W) discharged by the work discharging device. The detecting sensor detects the works(W) in the work receiving concave units(1a) at the work discharging position. The transporting table(1) and the work discharging device are controlled by a controlling unit(20). The controlling unit moves the transporting table(1) by a predetermined distance if the works(W) are not discharged from the work receiving concave units(1a) when the work discharging device is driven based on a signal from the detecting sensor.
