A mobile communication terminal and a method for checking conversation are provided to display omitted word among preset core words when conversation is terminated, thereby delivering contents desired by the user. A mobile communication terminal includes a microphone(120), a display module(150), a storage part(110), a voice analysis part(130), and a controller(140). The storage part(110) stores the list of conversation points including core words of conversation contents. The voice analysis part(130) analyzes voice input through the microphone to extract word information. The controller detects words identical to the extracted word information in the voice analysis part if voice communication is terminated, thereby displaying the detected words by determining whether or not each conversation point item of the list of the conversation points is delivered.
