FIELD: rolled tube production, namely rolling conversion tubes of large and mean diameters in tube rolling plants with pilger mills from ingots and billets of titanium base alloys for further processing to commercial tubes by mechanical working or rolling in tube cold rolling mills. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of rolling conversion tubes in pilger mill for further working them to commercial tubes, possibly by rolling in tube cold rolling mills along single-pass route at wall allowance DeltaSm and conversion tubes for cold conversion- along multi-pass routes at wall allowance DeltaSx where DeltaSM = 16 -20 -allowance by wall thickness at conversion of conversion tubes to commercial ones by mechanical working or secondary rolling in tube cold rolling mills along single-pass route whose larger values are set for commercial tubes with large relation dt/st, mm; Delta Sx = 8 -12 - wall thickness allowance at conversion of conversion tubes to commercial ones by secondary rolling in tube cold rolling mill along multi-pass routes whose large values are set for commercial tubes with large relation dt/st, mm; dt - nominal outer diameter of commercial tubes, mm; st - nominal wall thickness of commercial tubes, mm, while relation of allowance values for mechanical working of outer and inner layers is determined according to expression ASmo/ASmi = ASxi/ASxo = 0.7 - 0.95 where less values ASo/ASi are set for commercial tubes with large relation dt/st; ASmo - wall thickness allowance at outer side at conversion of conversion tubes to commercial ones by mechanical working or rolling in tube cold rolling mills along single-pass route, mm; ASmi - wall thickness allowance at inner side at conversion of conversion tubes to commercial ones by mechanical working or rolling in tube cold rolling mills along single-pass route, mm; ASxo - wall thickness allowance at outer side at conversion of conversion tubes to commercial ones by rolling in tube cold rolling mills along multi-pass route, mm; ASxi - wall thickness allowance at inner side at conversion of conversion tubes to commercial ones by rolling in tube cold rolling mills along multi-pass route, mm. ^ EFFECT: reduced consumption factor of alloys, lowered cost of conversion and commercial tubes of titanium base alloys. ^ 2 cl, 1 tbl |
