PROCESS FOR PREPARING CROSSLINKED MONODISPERSE POLYMER PARTICLES WITH A DIAMETER OF MICRON

Provided is a method for preparing a monodisperse crosslinked polymer microparticle to improve monodispersity by inhibiting the generation of coagulum and macroparticle. The method comprises the steps of injecting a particle stabilizer to a seed particle dispersion; absorbing a crosslinking monomer into the seed particle dispersion; and polymerizing it, wherein the absorption and the polymerization are carried out in a reactor provided with no stirrer and no buffle. Preferably the particle stabilizer is at least one selected from the group consisting of poly(vinyl alcohol), poly(acrylic acid) and methyl cellulose, and its content is 0.5-20 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the crosslinking monomer.
