A keypad assembly capable of changing an input mode and a mobile terminal including the assembly are provided to display only one of button groups such as numbers, the Korean character or English according to an input mode of the terminal, so that size of input items displayed on each button can get much larger, thus a user can perceive the input items at a look. A pad sheet(112) is equipped. More than 2 of button groups(114a-114c) are integratedly formed in an upper part of the pad sheet. Driving units move the pad sheet by being connected to at least one of both sections of the pad sheet. A PCB(Printed Circuit Board) generates an electric signal by being located in a lower part of the pad sheet.
