FIELD: the invention refers to measuring technique. ^ SUBSTANCE: an arrangement for definition of roughness of a surface has a laser, in-series located along the laser radiation a half-transmitting mirror installed under an angle of 450 to the optical axle of the arrangement and a photo receiver electrically connected with a measuring block. The arrangement has a spheroconic system, a diaphragm rigidly fixed on the photo receiver, a unit of displacement of the photo receiver along the axle of the arrangement.
