A device for calibrating a frequency and a frequency calibration method using the same are provided to reduce time required for calibrating the frequency of a main clock and reduce a device size by enabling a tester to quickly calculate a frequency slope of the main clock and provide a calculated calibration value to a calibrator. An oscillator(210) generates the main clock(220) of an MCU(Micro Control Unit)(200). A calibrator(230) calibrates the frequency of the main clock generated from the oscillator to a target frequency. If the calculated calibration value corresponds to the target frequency, a calibration value output part(250) stores a calibration value and outputs the stored calibration value to the calibrator. The tester(240) calculates the frequency slope of the main clock linearly changed by a resistance value of a resistor included in the oscillator and calculates the calibration value used in the calibrator by using the calculated frequency slope. The calibrator calibrates the frequency of the main clock by changing the resistance value of the resistor of the oscillator based on the calculated calibration value.
