A ruler for easily drawing the width of a line is provided to exactly draw the line width by drawing a line with pulling out a subscale from a main scale at regular intervals correspondent to a split scale and then drawing the next line with matching the split scale to the predetermined width about a reference line. The ruler(1) for easily drawing the width of a line is composed of split scales(13) formed on a narrow and long ruler body(2); centimeter scales(12) marked on a scale display unit(11) formed in the front end and inclined toward the front lower side; a hanging piece(16) integrally formed at the underside of the ruler body on the opposite side of the scale display unit; and a placing part(14) formed in the front side of the hanging piece.
