A heat pipe for an absorption refrigerating machine is provided to prevent a generation of a fluid film of flowing fluid by forming a micro projection on the surface of the heat pipe. A heat pipe for an absorption refrigerating machine includes at least one rugged surface with micro projections formed on the surface. The rugged surface is formed by an etching process to the surface of the heat pipe inside or outside of the heat pipe. The etching process uses an etching solution of ammonium chloride as an alkaline solution and sulfuric acid as an acid solution.
