PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the influence on an HDD due to magnetism or electromagnetic wave from the outside in a portable electronic apparatus, having a non-contact IC module and the HDD, where two casings are connected so as to be freely openable. SOLUTION: The first casing 1 comprises an HDD part 6 and the second casing 2 comprises the non-contact IC module 8 constituted of an IC chip 18 and an antenna coil 19. A sheet-like key sheet, which is obtained by including an electromagnetic wave shielding material in rubber, etc., is used for a key operation part. When a portable telephone is folded, radio communication by the electromagnetic waves is performed between the non-contact IC module 8, and a reader/writer part and also the magnetism is added to an antenna coil 19 from the reader/writer part, in order to generate electric power by electromagnetic induction. The electromagnetic wave and the magnetism are shielded by the key sheet. When the first and second casings 1, 2 are opened, since the HDD part 6 is separated from the non-contact IC module 8, the influence on the HDD part 6 due to the magnetism and the electromagnetic waves for communication is reduced.
