WDM MOST DEVICE AND MOST NETWORK USING THE SAME

A WDM(Wavelength Division Multiplexing) MOST(Media Oriented Systems Transport) device and an MOST network using the device are provided to realize thus high-capacity data transmission while data delay is avoided. A wavelength division controller(250) stores more than 2 pieces of wavelength information used for optical signals, and determines wavelength values to be used for transmission or reception of data to control the transmission or the reception of the data. A multi-E/O(Electro-Optic) converter(230) converts electric signals into optical signals for the transmission of the data. A multi-O/E(Opto-Electronic) converter(240) converts optical signals for the reception of the data having different wavelength values from wavelength values of the multi-E/O converter(230) into electric signals. A POF(Plastic Optical Fiber)(270) conducts physical transmission or reception of the optical signals for the reception of the data or the transmission of the data. A POF interface(260) performs an interface between the POF(270) and the converters(230,240) under control of the controller(250).
