A ventilation and functional lumber manufacturing method and a device are provided to prevent shrinkage of ventilation and functional lumber by keeping moisture by stopping up through-holes with a ventilating cap and to emit far infrared rays through the ventilating cap. The ventilation and functional lumber manufacturing method comprises the steps of: drawing a reference line on the spot where elongated holes(11) are bored through a long hexagonal wood panel(1), and perforating plural through-holes(12) at regular intervals along the reference line by a drill(9); stacking and fixing the wood panels having the through-holes, on a wood panel support(6); successively boring the elongated holes from one side of the wood panel to the other side thereof along the reference line by operating an elongated hole boring drill(7) and a drill tip holder(8); separating the wood panel from the wood panel support and then cutting the wood panel in the shape and length corresponding to purpose and installation position; blocking the through-holes of the cut wood panel and one side of the elongated hole with a ventilating cap having fine air flow holes; and putting functional materials through the other aperture of the elongated hole and then blocking the other aperture of the elongated hole with the ventilating cap. |
