The switch profile (1) has a hollow profile body with a surrounding electrically insulating sleeve (2) enclosing two contact strips (5,6) positioned in opposition. The vertical dimension of the sleeve is greater than the horizontal. A hollow chamber is formed between the two contact strips and the sleeve cross section has a waisted section (14,15) between the opposing edges of the two contact strips. The lower section of the sleeve is widened (24) to form a mounting foot. |
