<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily replace a medium and to easily read/reproduce even data recorded and stored in a medium used in the past. <P>SOLUTION: A management server 12 arranged between a plurality of computers of a high-order system and a control terminal connected to a DVD changer adds identification symbols not only to data handled by the plurality of computers of the high-order system but also a DVD itself, and manages which data is stored in which DVD and which position the DVD is currently located.
