PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus which reduces image noises and EMI, and surely and easily latches an image signal when the image signal is transferred from a first half block to a latter half block of an image processing IC at a high speed, in an image processing circuit arranged at a post-stage of an analog front end (AFE). SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus includes: a CCD 21 for reading an original image; the analog front end section (AFE) 22 for adjusting an offset and a gain of an image signal and executing A/D conversion; an image processing IC 36 for applying image processing such as shading correction, input gamma correction, color correction, MTF correction, and output gamma correction to the digital image signal; and a spread clock generating section 32 for generating a spread spectrum clock on the basis of an originally excited clock, first half block 37 of the image processing section is driven by the originally excited clock, and the latter half block 39 is driven by the spread clock.
