PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner which is excellent in electrostatic charge characteristics even under a high temperature and high humidity without deteriorating low-temperature fixation and with which satisfactory transferability can be obtained and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing toner comprises a core part containing a binder resin, a non-crystalline resin, a crystalline resin, and a block polymer, and a shell part for covering the core part, in which the block polymer is comprised of the non-crystalline part A and the crystalline part B and the weight average molecular weight of the resin used for formation of the non-crystalline part A of the block polymer is 10,000 to 40,000 and further, the weight average molecular weight of the resin used for formation of the crystalline part B of the block polymer is 1,000 to 3,000.
