PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to surely collect body fluid leaking forward and rearward by arranging the opening means of a pocket space in a pocket sheet when arranging the pocket sheet for forming the pocket space opening to a body fluid discharging section R side on the upper face side of a fluid-permeable surface sheet in the front side section and/or the rear side section of an absorbent article. SOLUTION: The pocket sheet 14 for forming the pocket space P<SB>B</SB>opening to the body fluid discharging side on the upper face side of the fluid-permeable surface sheet 3 is arranged especially in the rear side of a napkin 1 and an elastic extendable member 15 for opening is arranged along the longitudinal direction of the napkin in the center of the width direction for opening the pocket space P<SB>B</SB>relative to the pocket sheet 14 in the absorbent article in which an absorber is interposed between a fluid-permeable surface sheet and a rear sheet.
