METHOD OF FORMING BLOW-MOLDED ARTICLE AND MOLDING APPARATUS

A method and molding apparatus for forming a blow-molded article which have the following constitution. A parison (1) is preblown, while preventing it from coming into contact with the inner surface (2a) of a mold, so that the parison (1) comes to have a wall thickness equal to the wall thickness of the blow-molded article to be obtained. Part of the air is discharged from the parison. Thereafter, blow molding is conducted. Thus, a blow-molded article having evenness of wall thickness is obtained.
