<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably perform transition processing to a power saving mode and return processing from a power saving mode condition to an ordinary mode condition in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: In transition to the power saving mode, a first task performing power control and a second task prohibiting interruption of a request for another task in association with the first task are generated by a program executed by a CPU 2001. When the second task is carried out, information loaded by the CPU is kept in an SDRAM 2002 and then transition to the power saving mode is carried out.
