<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which is prevented from being illegally used by detecting an illegal movement place of the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 is equipped with a control means 11 which acquires installation position information from an external position acquiring device 2, compares the acquisition result with legal installation position information held in a nonvolatile memory 12, and judges that the apparatus is illegally used when the difference between both the pieces of installation position information is not within a specified error range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
