PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems wherein, since an illumination lamp employing an LED lamp as a light source is turned on at the specified brightness as soon as the power is supplied and instantaneously turned off as the power is disconnected, the blinking is too abrupt when viewed from a succeeding vehicle or the like, and a sense of incongruity is felt. SOLUTION: An illumination lamp 1 employing an LED lamp as a light source has a delay circuit 5, a power supply control unit 6, and a timer circuit 7, and when turning on the illumination lamp by the delay circuit, the brightness of the LED lamp is increased with the predetermined inclination, and when turning off the lamp, the brightness is decreased with the predetermined inclination having an inflexion point P at the predetermined temporal position by the power supply control unit and the timer circuit. The turn-on and the turn-off of the illumination lamp are set to be similar to those of known illumination lamps such as an incandescent lamp, and the sense of incongruity is eliminated.
