The invention relates to a method for producing a crosslinked polymer-containing plaster composition consisting in preparing a plaster composition dough by mixing different composition components or the precursor thereof with water in a mixer, in hydraulically setting, in drying and in crosslinking by heating. Said invention can be used for producing plaster plates. The plaster composition containing a crosslinked polymer and a water-resistant additive in such a quantity that a water uptake is less than 10% is also disclosed.
