PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase an output and a capacity of a multiple magnetic pole generating mechanism using claw elements and a claw pole motor-generator. SOLUTION: The multiple magnetic pole generating mechanism is provided with a pair of superconductive magnetic field coils 50a, 50b disposed so as to align central axes of windings, an armature 20 disposed between a pair of the superconductive magnetic field coils 50a, 50b in the winding direction of the superconductive magnetic field coils 50a, 50b, and a pair of the claw elements 30a, 30b disposed so as to interpose the armature 20 in the winding direction of the superconductive magnetic field coils 50a, 50b. A current flows from wiring not shown in the figure to the armature 20. A magnetic path of a magnetic flux generated by the superconductive magnetic field coils 50a, 50b forms a shape of 8, and penetrates the armature 20. Since a magnetic field distribution is clarified in the armature 20 to have uniform magnetic flux distribution, the efficient, high-output and high-capacity claw pole motor 3 can be achieved.
