PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal which prohibits a receiving process of electronic mail information in the middle of multiple triggering of BG reception disable applications. SOLUTION: A mobile terminal 10 stores "BG reception enable" or "BG reception disable" in an electronic mail reception state storage 32 according to notification from an application. If "BG reception enable notification" is received from any application while the electronic mail reception state storage 32 holds the "BG reception disable", it is judged whether the information stored in the electronic mail reception state storage 32 is maintained as "BG reception disable" or not according to the triggering state of the application of which BG reception is disabled during triggering. If judged not to maintain, the information stored in the electronic mail reception state storage 32 is made "BG reception enable", and an electronic mail acquisition request is transmitted to a server device 101 for receiving an electronic mail information if the electronic mail reception state storage 32 holds "BG reception enable".
