<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft tube of a writing implement which makes it possible to obtain a difference in the feel of holding according to the direction of rotation, without changing a distance from a writing tip, by a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: In the shaft tube of the writing implement having a constitution wherein a holding part having a diameter smaller than the outside diameter of the other part of the shaft tube is formed on the main body of the shaft tube and a grip member formed of a soft material is fitted on the holding part, the shape of the inner wall of the cross section of the grip member is formed in an almost perfect circle, while the shape of the outer wall of the cross section of the holding part is formed to be elliptic. In another embodiment, the shape of the inner wall of the cross section of the grip member and that of the outer wall of the cross section of the holding part are formed in the almost perfect circle, while the holding part is formed so that the center of the outer wall thereof is located at a position eccentric to the axis of the main body of the shaft tube. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
