PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker with little trouble in operation and easy to use while allowing not only a plurality of steps of normally-used temperatures but also a plurality of further fine steps of intermediate temperatures to be set as target heating temperatures. SOLUTION: A target temperature setting means 100 for setting a target heating temperature is provided with a plurality of kinds of temperature setting modes where the number of steps of setting target temperatures provided as a plurality of setting target temperatures are changed in a state where gradually changing temperature width is varied and in a state where a plurality of steps of setting target temperatures for references are included, is structured to set a setting target temperature determined by a preset sequence every time the change of the target heating temperature is instructed by a temperature change instruction means in the temperature setting mode selected therefrom, and is structured to determine any of the plurality of kinds of temperature setting modes as the temperature setting mode used for the target temperature setting based on a mode selection instruction of a human-induced mode selection means.
