PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aqueous coating liquid having microorganism proliferation-inhibitory function such as antibacterial/antiviral/antifungal properties, a proper stain inhibitory function and water repellency and a functional coating film obtained from the same. SOLUTION: The aqueous coating liquid comprises a metal-modified apatite particle in which a part of metal in an apatite crystal structure is substituted with a metal having a photocatalytic action and an aqueous emulsion resin as essential components.
