PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of preventing occurrence of void at an edge part when a controller and an image forming engine respectively provided from manufacturers between which a code system of an arrangement pattern of fine pixels used for promoting a high resolution of pixels cannot be shared with each other and are mounted and activated on one and same composite machine. SOLUTION: When intermediate image data received from the controller 20 include a pattern code, the image forming engine 30 discriminates whether or not the pattern code is stored in its own code table 36a and prints out an image with a density in response to a K density value included in the intermediate pixel data to a concerned position when not stored.
