BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION METHOD

A bridge construction method capable of economically and efficiently performing the construction work and preventing traffic jam from occurring by carrying side structures formed by pre-combining, members such as cross beams, steel floor plates, and handrails to both sides of a main girder along the bridge axis into the site and connecting the side structures to the main girder. The lower ends of a plurality of supporting struts (3) are rotatably connected to the lower edges of both sides of the main girder (1) along the bridge axis. When the main girder (1) is installed on piers, the upper ends of the supporting struts (3) are closed in the direction of the main girder (1). After the main girder is placed on the piers, the upper ends of the supporting struts (3) are opened downward. The side structures (2) formed by combining members such as the cross beams, steel floor plates, and handrails are disposed and supported between the upper edges of both sides of the main girder (1) and the upper ends of the supporting struts (3).
