PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming an ion conductive film covering the whole or a part of surfaces of particles of an electrode active material, and to provide an electrode material using the method and a secondary battery or a solid battery.

SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a composite for an electrode is configured such that at least one kind selected from metal oxides and metal sulfides is used as the electrode active material, a monovalent metal compound containing at least a halide is used as an ion conductor, and the metal halide and a monovalent metal salt are formed by mechanochemical treatment.
