A variable damper for a vehicle is provided to minimize weight and cost by changing a natural frequency through one damper which functions as a dynamic damper at a low frequency band, such as an idle state, and as a mass damper at a high frequency band, such as driving. A variable damper for a vehicle includes a bracket(3), a mass(5), and an actuator(11). The bracket is mounted on a vibration generating unit of a vehicle body. The mass is disposed inside the bracket. The mass is cured to be adhered between both inner sides of the bracket by an elastic member. A fixing hole(9) is formed on the top of the mass. The actuator is mounted on an upper surface of the bracket. An operating rod of the actuator is disposed in the fixing hole of the mass, passing through the bracket. And, the actuator is operated according to a control signal of a controller.
