<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the practicability of an immobilizer (an anti-theft device) provided on a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: In a vehicle having an active stabilizer system 10 for changing the rigidity of a stabilizer bar 20 by an actuator 30, when providing an immobilizer 12, an alarm by, for example, a headlight 144 and a horn 146 is given by using the electromotive force generated in an electric motor of the actuator. More specifically, the current depending on the electromotive force is detected by an ammeter provided on an inverter 104, the power is supplied from a battery 102 to an immobilizer ECU 140 based on the result of detection, and the immobilizer is started thereby. Since any power need not be supplied to the immobilizer in a state in which the operation of the vehicle is stopped, a power-saving immobilizer is realized. Further, only the ammeter is necessary, and any other special sensor for starting the immobilizer is unnecessary, the configuration of the vehicle can be simplified. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
