<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for cooking roasted rice by which the roasted rice can be readily and tastily appreciated: and to provide a roasted rice product. <P>SOLUTION: The method for cooking roasted rice comprises the following process: putting roasted rice 1 obtained by roasting unhulled rice followed by removing hulls from the unhulled rice in a bowl 5 together with desired ingredients 2 and water 3 to mix them; covering the bowl 5 with a lid 6 followed by heating the bowl charged with the mixture with a microwave oven 7 for prescribed period of time; and taking the bowl out of the microwave oven 7 followed by stirring the mixture.
