<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical score display device with which beam notes are easy to see on display. <P>SOLUTION: A beam note string (beam groups) is searched from a song data for expressing each note which composes a song, and a beam slope correction value iSlopeAdj which is incremented or decremented according to positive/negative height difference between adjoining notes in the beam note string, is generated. This is multiplied by the note height difference between a beam start note and a beam end note of the beam note string, and when an obtained value is 0 or less, the slope of the beam corresponding to the note difference between the beam start note and the beam end note, is corrected by the beam slope correction value iSlopeAdj.
