PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical brush which is free from cutting of brush pieces even under degraded machining conditions during various machining procedures including grinding, polishing, surface finishing, washing, deburring, etc. of a surface to be ground, free from degraded machining performance even if the brush pieces are deformed, and simple in structure and manufacturing procedure. SOLUTION: The cylindrical brush 1 is for use in various machining procedures. The cylindrical brush has at least cores and brush pieces 3 arranged thereon, and the brush pieces are formed of stranded wires alone, or both the stranded wires and single wires.
