PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine having a simplified connecting mechanism between an oiling system of lubricating oil and a frame, eases injection of the lubricating oil and is manufactured at lower cost. SOLUTION: The sewing machine includes a frame having a sewing machine bed and a vertical body which extends up from the sewing machine bed, an oil tank which is arranged below the sewing machine bed in the frame and stores the lubricating oil, a residual quantity display which displays the remaining amount in the oil tank, an oil port for feeding the lubricating oil into the oil tank and an oil supply pathway which makes communication between the oil port and the oil tank. The vertical body in the frame is formed with a notch which penetrates inside and the notch is integrally formed with the residual quantity display and the oil port. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
