PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaper containing wood charcoal powder capable of increasing effects, preventing infections and being excellent in a deodorization effect and a sterilization effect by combining sterilization, deodorization and far infrared ray effects by wood charcoal and sterilization and deodorization effects of decomposing viruses (influenza) by titanium dioxide in order to use the diaper in an aseptic state. SOLUTION: For the diaper with the wood charcoal powder, a high polymer absorbent 3 is disposed on the back surface side of a water permeable top sheet 2, a wood charcoal sheet material 4 composed of cotton fibers containing the wood charcoal powder is disposed on the back surface side further, and a back sheet 5 is disposed on the back surface side of the wood charcoal sheet material. Otherwise, the high polymer absorbent is disposed on the back surface side of the water permeable top sheet, a sheet material composed of the cotton fibers containing the wood charcoal powder is disposed with the interposition of a binder layer containing titanium dioxide powder on the back surface side further, and the back sheet is disposed on the back surface side of the sheet material.
