PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a password having prescribed complexity. SOLUTION: This image formation apparatus (Pr1) is provided with a password candidate input image display means (C7) for displaying a password candidate input image (61) for inputting a password candidate on an information on an information display screen (UI1) for setting a password for performing authentication; a complexity storage means (C8B) for storing complexity necessary for the set password; a complexity discriminating means (C9) for discriminating whether or not the password candidate input by the password candidate input image (61) satisfies the necessary complexity stored in the complexity storage means (C8B); and a password setting means (C13) for setting the password candidate as a password to be used for authentication when the password candidate satisfies the necessary complexity.
