PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper folder and a paper postprocessing system capable of achieving compliance of paper in center folding processing. SOLUTION: A control part 80 of a center folding unit 17 mounted on this paper post processing system has a first functional processing part aligning the edge of an upper edge tentering cursor 1703a by a distance little by a predetermined distance from a predetermined edge tentering quantity to the paper P carried in onto a paper placing tray 170, a second functional processing part tentering the upper edge tentering cursor 1703a by a residual distance to the paper P carried in onto the paper placing tray 170, and a third functional processing part aligning the edge of a lower edge tentering cursor 1703b at once by the predetermined tentering quantity to the paper P carried in onto the paper placing tray 170 while performing processing in the second functional processing part.
