PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet storage device equipped in an image forming device, and enhancing productivity, by suitably continuously storing even an easily curable, particularly, large size sheet and a roll cut sheet in storage after forming an image. SOLUTION: A rolled-sheet delivered from a paper delivery port of a printer 10 is cut in the predetermined length in delivering, and is dropped and stored in a storage part (composed of a frame and a guide chute) of the sheet storage device 50 as a sheet S. The sheet S is guided and dropped by a belt-like guide stopper 60, and is restrained when the sheet tip butts against a butting member 63 of a guide stopper belt-like body 61. The rear end S1 of the sheet S is folded back from the storage part upper end, and is hung down outside by reaction and inertial force. A plurality of sheets S can be stored in layers without causing a curl by repeating this operation. A high-quality image is provided since the preceding sheet S and the succeeding sheet S do not mutually rub with an image forming surface (a printing surface). COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
