PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for repairing a mat which can prevent an environmental deterioration in a workplace by making polishing with sandpaper and the use of rubber cement unnecessary, improve the appearance of a repair trace, and reduce repairing labor. SOLUTION: The method for repairing a place to be repaired in a mat substrate or a mat rolled web of the mat in which the mat substrate is joined to the back of the mat rolled web includes the first process in which crude rubber is put to the place through an adhesive and the second process for hot-pressing the place to which the crude rubber is put.
